Specific fertility related Treatments available at our Centre


Fibroids Treatment: Fibroid is a benign tumor of muscular and fibrous tissues developing in the wall of uterus. Treatment includes: – Hormonal medications, Progestin, IUD, removal of fibroid (myomectomy). 

Recurrent miscarriage treatment: Most common causes of recurrent miscarriage are: genetic abnormalities, uterine problems, hormonal disorders. Treatment options include:- PGD (Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis), surgical treatment of uterine abnormalities, Corrections of hormonal problems, Immunological treatment, blood timing medications. 

Implantation Failure: Treatment options for recurrent implantation failure are: Lifestyle intervention, anti-coagulants, immunotherapy, improving the endometrial receptivity, improving the sperm quality, pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT is a method employed to detect chromosomal genetic abnormalities in embryos that have been created via in vitro fertilization (IVF) before implantation and pregnancy occur). 

Hydrosalpinx treatment: Hydrosalpinx is defined as fluid accumulation in one or both fallopian tubes. Treatment options include: draining and repairing, of the tubes, or removing the tubes( Salpingectomy). 

Hysteroscopy: Hysteroscopy is the procedure for inspection of uterine cavity by an endoscope with access through the cervix. It helps to diagnose intra-uterine pathology and serves as an interventional tool. 

Laproscopy: Laproscopy is a procedure performed on the abdomen or pelvis using small incisions with the help of a camera. Laproscopy is a diagnostic and interventional procedure with few small cuts in the abdomen. 

PCOS treatment: Treatment of PCOS is the combination of supportive lifestyle modification and medication. Birth control pills regulate the menstrual cycles, metformin to control the insulin resistance and lifestyle modifications like exercise, weight loss, and high protein diet.

Endometriosis treatment: Endometriosis is a chronic disease. It can cause severe pelvic pain, heavy and painful periods, dyspareunia and infertility. There is no sure shot cure for endometriosis. Treatment options available are: hormonal therapy, ablation, cauterization (Cauterization involves destroying tissue with a hot or cold instrument, electrical current, or a chemical that either burns or dissolves the tissue), electrocoagulation (electrocauterization is a form of electrosurgery that utilizes an electric current to heat and destroy abnormal tissue, such as tumors, or to manage bleeding) and excision surgery.
